There is plenty of talk right now about a pandemic. But, the everyday pandemic of death is all too frequently ignored or rationalized away. My favorite quote of all time (which focuses on the ultimate issue in life) comes from Canadian Scientist G.B. Hardy. “I only have two questions. One, did anybody ever conquer death? Two, did he make a way for me to do it too?
The encouraging truth is that both questions can be answered with an emphatic “yes!” in the person of Jesus Christ. Check John 11:25 and Revelation 1:17-18.
